CrowdCube is a web application designed to connect individuals who want to raise money for personal needs, creative ideas, or startups with potential contributors. This platform enables users to create and manage fundraising campaigns, make donations, and track project progress. CrowdCube is built with modern web technologies to ensure a user-friendly, secure, and dynamic experience for both campaign creators and contributors. It consists of a frontend and a backend, seamlessly integrated to provide full functionality.
Ensuring that only the campaign owner can modify or delete a fundraising campaign while allowing everyone to view it.
Implemented authentication with protected API routes and verified the logged-in user's identity before allowing update or delete operations. Each campaign stores the creator's user ID/email, and the backend checks ownership before processing any modification request, ensuring secure access control.
